Celebrations come in many different shapes and sizes that cover many different events. For the past couple of celebrations I have talked about celebrations with dirking, bags and other adult events. But last Saturday I got to celebrate an event that comes around about once a month, but there wasn’t any beer drinking, puking, or peer-pong, what kind of celebration is this you might ask…..for as long as I can remember my parents have been flipping houses “taking old houses and remodeling them new” and every once in awhile the get to sell these pieces of work. When my parents resell a house we all go out to celebrate. Beer events are replaced with lots and lots of food. As I was sitting at the table thinking about how different this celebration was. The sound of loud music was replaced by the buzz of family talking. Monopoly took beer-pongs place.

Although there were many differences, a lot was the same. Events were full of laughter. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The interactions between people seem to be the same, a Lot of talking.

This celebration showed me that even though there wasn’t any “party” events going on, this was a celebration and had its differences and similarities
